The Magic of Christmas at Roger’s Garden

We are fortunate to have a gorgeous nursery down the street from where we live called Roger’s Garden.  Every year we head over there during Christmas time to check out their holiday decor to get ideas to decorate our house.  They have rooms upon rooms filled with the most beautiful ornaments, trees and so much more!  I had a chance to speak to Nava Rezvan, their marketing manager, about what it takes to prepare for their expected 250,000 guests that come through their doors during the holiday season.

She explained that their team will travel the world to find the most beautiful and diverse collection of ornaments that they use to decorate their twenty-five themed Christmas trees that are displayed throughout their gallery.  I can attest to the uniqueness of the ornaments and odds and ends as they are definitely one-of-a-kind pieces.

When you walk into the Gallery, you are immediately met by an old-world inspired library with three metallic Christmas trees that are decorated in gold and silver hues. You can get lost in the different worlds they create in all the different rooms.  In the center of the Gallery is a snowy winter wonderland where the trees are covered in crystal and silver ornaments.

Ms. Rezvan says it takes them an entire year to plan, purchase and produce their holiday displays.  Their buyers tend to do most of their purchasing in January at the Christmas trade show in Germany though they also work with local artisans to create specialty items just for them.  It takes about a month to set up all of the beautiful trees, tabletop displays and décor items.  It is so wonderful to walk through each of their rooms and get lost in the magic of the holidays.  My daughter really enjoys the extensive train set they place in the middle of the garden and the cookies they leave out for their guests.

If you are local or in the neighborhood visiting this time of year – make sure to go check out this wonderland of cheer!
