Award-Winning Toy Company Skullduggery Giveaway
How often do we see the statement MADE IN THE USA on products these days? That is one of the things that really stood out to me about this next company we are featuring. Skullduggery is a family-owned business run by brothers Steve and Peter, and their father, Pete Koehl, have been manufacturing fossil replicas, craft kits, and toys in the United States since 1987. When I spoke to Steve, the President of the company last week, he explained that both is sister and mom have worked in the company in some capacity. So this really is a family-run business with quality products!
This week I had a chance to try out their new indoor action disc game called Aero Flixx. We used it outside at our cookie-frosting neighborhood party and all the kids were taking turns trying to hit the target. A rubber band powered target is available at which the discs are tossed and a direct hit propels the target 5 – 6 feet in the air. There are 40 Aero Flixx discs to collect and trade and each 4 inch disc contains a cool 3D on one side and foam backing on the other. My daughter was immediately enamored with the picture of the dragon and the zombie discs! Some other games the kids can play include indoor disc golf, H*O*R*S*E, shooting gallery, or other precision games using the Aero Flixx’ 3D throwing discs, target and target launcher.
Steve Koehl got the idea to create Aero Flixx from his years as a kid trying to get the playing cards in the bucket. It does take some skill but one of the things I like about this game is that it works on fine motor skills. The kids stay engaged with the game because of all the fun disc designs and you know how kids are when they focus on something they can spend quite some time trying to get better and better at it.
One of Skullduggery’s buyers Bill St. John of Be Smart Toys, LLC says “Aero Flixx is an addicting game that shows up as a modern day skills challenge. It holds the challenge of darts and the collect-ability of trading cards. My retailers love it.” I agree with what Bill says – my daughter has become quite addicted to trying to hit the target!
Skullduggery has been manufacturing fossil replicas, craft kits, and toys in the United States since 1987. Skullduggery’s product line includes Krazy Kars, Marble Copters, Eyewitness Kits, Cast & Paint, High End Replica’s, Classroom Kits and now Aero Flixx. Their Marble Racer cars have won numerous awards including Creative Child Magazine Top Toy of the Year, Oppenheim Best Toy, Toy Directory Best Selling Specialty Toy, Top Ten Toy Under $10, and Top Ten Most Wanted Die-Cast Toy. Aero Flixx and other toys are available nationwide in ToyRUs and other specialty toy stores.
Another thing I really like about this company is that they give back to their community. They support local charities and over the years have provided toys for the Toys for Tots program and this year will donate to The Sheepfold, a local shelter for women and children, and the Apps for Children with Special Needs (A4cwsn) community.
If you need a good stocking stuffer for your boy or active girl – you might just find this to be a new favorite toy!

My favorite toy as a kid was two things. The light bright and my big box of Barbie stuff. My sister and I had this HUGE box of Barbie stuff. Everything Barbie. We were the envy of our cousins because of all the Barbie things we had. It was really all we had to play with but we loved them all and played with them well into our teen years! 🙂
