PBS Kids Wild Kratts: Creature Power App Review & Giveaway

The Kratt brothers are so wonderful in their new show The Wild Kratts that aired this week on PBS Kids!  It is a combination of them as cartoon characters (think Wonder Twin powers and the Scooby Doo teenagers vibe) as well as them out at sea teaching us about our amazing oceans and the creatures that live in them.

My six year old is quite obsessed with the show and requests to watch it every night since we received a sample DVD!  I am not joking – she is really into the style of the show and loves learning about dolphins and puffer fish.  PBS Kids The Wild Kratts has definitely hit a nerve with our kid.

I am excited to share the news of their newest app release WILD KRATTS Creature Power app! Available exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch, kids follow the ever-adventurous Kratt brothers, Chris and Martin, in the app as they dive into the world of animals with three new interactive animal adventures. Intended for children ages 4-8, the science-focused app enables kids to explore special creature powers as they pollinate flowers, bathe elephants and feed a family of raccoons.

You also have the option to choose from a picture of stickers and make silly photographs. For example, my daughter took a picture of herself standing with the Kratt brothers and then added other fun stickers to the photo.  You have the option to save the photo and email it to a friend or family member. We really enjoyed learning about bees and how they pollinate flowers and what types of food baby raccoons like.  I had no idea they like frogs and fish!  If you are fans of the Kratt brothers and learning about nature – this will surely be a hit in your household!

PBS Kids has provided us with some codes for their new app The Wild Kratts: Creature Power.  Good luck dandelion moms.

The WILD KRATTS Creature Power App is available for $2.99.
