Tory Johnson’s Spark & Hustle 15-City Tour

Last year I attended the Tory Johnson’s Spark & Hustle business seminar in Los Angeles, California.  Erin Condren had told me about the event about two months prior during our phone interview.  She told me she had seen great success with her product sales after being featured on Good Morning America Tory Johnson’s program that features entrepreneurial moms and their products.  She said Tory invited her to be one of the featured speakers and recommended that I attend the Los Angeles event.  I don’t normally attend these type of events, but after doing some research about Tory Johnson and the Spark & Hustle seminars she created – I figured this just might be the push I needed to move forward with an idea I had forming in my head about a lifestyle website I had already named… you guessed it  – dandelion moms!

I am so glad I attended as I ended up meeting a woman, Wendy Conte, who became my company bookkeeper as well as several other contacts.  The day was filled with successful business woman after woman talking about how they started their business, mistakes made along the way (which showed us that mistakes are made but you work through them), and lots of valuable information.  As I was sitting there listening to the women talk about “just doing it” and going after your dream of starting a business I decided right there and then that I would make this dream of creating dandelion moms happen.  About four months later dandelion moms went live.

The Spark & Hustle 15-city national tour starts this March with one mission: to help women entrepreneurs across the country turn their passion and purpose to profit through small business ownership.  One of the things that is so great with the seminars is that there is something for everyone – whether you have already launched your business or just starting with an idea –  the content and connections you will make are impressive.  There are several companies who sponsor a table that you can check out – anything from payroll companies to business opportunities such as becoming a Stylist for Stella & Dot (which I ended up doing as I love their business idea and jewelry).

Each Spark & Hustle event is offered over a two day period and is filled with high-caliber speakers led by Tory Johnson.  They offer fresh, actionable tips, and most importantly tactics and strategies that will help you get your idea off the floor or build your existing business!  I really was inspired listening to all the featured speakers as they were  busy moms like myself (or grandmothers) who wanted to make their idea come to life.  They provide motivation and steps to make your dream a reality.  I know that this seminar was the push to take the final step to make dandelion moms a reality!

Here is a list of the cities where you can find a Spark & Hustle event.  If you are nearby one of these cities – it is worth the time and money to attend.  Who knows what can come out of it?  A new business idea? Valuable contacts?  Motivation to move forward?  I found all of these things and more.  I plan to attend this year again in March  and even signed up to be a Host for the Los Angeles event.  You won’t be disappointed with the calibur of these events!
