blabla kids Review & Giveaway
Blabla kids was started in 2001 by Florence Wetterwald, Susan Pritchett and Joseph Strong. Their dolls are handmade by a women’s group in Peru and are about the cutest dolls in town! Blabla products have been featured in anything from Vogue to Milk Magazine and even their “Thing” doll was featured in a Kia car commercial (remember the sock monkey and big brown “thing” dancing on the dance floor?). The products are really well made. I love how many of the dolls has their own name and personality description on the website. For example, Sandwich the cat we are told makes the yummiest panini with basil and strawberries between two sheets of music. We are big fans of anything blabla and I think you will become one too if you aren’t already!
Make sure to check out our interview with Inspirational Mom, Florence Wetterwald, the creative powerhouse behind blabla kids!
We are happy to announce that blabla is providing dandelion moms a chance to win a handmade knit doll such as the one posted above! Valued at $56. Good luck to you!

A huge blue teddy bear – I used to dress him in clothes my toddler brother had grown out of. (I still have him he’s very threadbare but still wearing an old stripy t-shirt from when my brother was about 18 months old)

To actually answer the question —- I had two stuffed animals that were my favorites – one was a bunny and the other was an elephant that my mom made for me. Funny story about the elephant — I was 10 years old and was having surgery on my ear — my elephant had an ear that was coming loose and I took her down to the operating room with me and showed it to the nurses and said she needed to have her ear fixed too. When I woke up, they gave her back to me with her ear sewn back on with blue surgical thread (she was pink). What a memory.
