Gluten Free Frozen Yogurt Fruit Bites

frozen yogurt fruit bites

I love to have fun snacks for my kids that are healthy as well as tasty. I also look for snacks that are easy to make. Since I eat gluten free, I try to find snacks that will work for me as well as for my kids.

For this snack, I cut up some fruit and dipped the small bites size pieces in Greek Yogurt. I used honey flavored, but you can use vanilla, or plain yogurt too.  Greek Yogurt is a little thicker, so I find that it works betters than regular yogurt. After the fruit pieces are dipped in the yogurt, place them on parchment paper and put them in the freezer to set.

This is a fun treat to eat any time, but it’s especially nice when the weather gets warm.  These yummy frozen yogurt fruit snacks are like small bite sized popsicles, and they are great for kids as well as adults. Just keep in mind that some fruits freeze harder than others. Strawberries become solid, but bananas and kiwi’s are not as hard. When I serve these frozen bites, I give them just a few minutes to soften. Don’t give them too long though or the yogurt will get gooey.

Enjoy–
