Recipes :: Spooky Halloween Appetizers
Today is the day my daughter and I plan to figure out the foods, last minute decorations and activities we will have at our upcoming Halloween party. We are planning on creating our scary skeleton guy today (just stuff your husband’s pants, an old hooded sweatshirt, and shoes with newspaper and put a skull on top), and our scavenger hunt planned out. But I wanted to find some fun finger foods for the adults and kids who will be joining us can enjoy and get a kick out of. Check out the fun and sometimes spooky appetizers that will surely be a hit!
7 Layer Bean Dip:
This fun spider web bean dip is super easy to make and looks fantastic! Most everyone loves the 7 layer bean dip at a party! To read how to make this fun appetizer go to CBS Local.com.
Banana Ghosts and Orange Pumpkins:
Easy is always a plus in my book! This looks great and is so easy – just use a celery stick for the oranges to make them look like pumpkins and chocolate bits for the eyes on the ghosts. Image found on Photoblip.com.
Edible Eyeballs
This “yummy” eyeball recipe can be found on the Disney site. Sure to be a hit among the kids! To read how to make your own set of eyeballs go to Family Go.com.
Band-Aid Anyone?
Creepy but oh, so funny to serve at your Halloween party! Katherine Marie offers some great ideas if you want some more spooky and creepy appetizers ideas! Read more at Katherine Maries.com.
Zombie Fingers:
This one is great and really easy to make as well. String cheese, green olives and some cream cheese is all you will need! We plan to serve these zombie fingers at our party! To find some more ideas go to Foodfotgallery.com.
Mozzarella Eyeballs Anyone?
Gross! Not sure if I will be using the skull but this is such a silly appetizer and since I will already have some olives from my zombie fingers… this just might be doable. To read how to make these spooky eyeballs to Giant Eagle.com.
Halloween Monster Munchies:
Though these aren’t appetizers – they are too cute and she provides the free pdf to download to make these. These monster munchies would be cute at a monster-themed birthday party as well! To read more go to The Idea Room.
0Have a great time this Thursday! Boo!

They do look pretty yummy Barbara! We made the zombie fingers and they were SO easy to make – I didn’t even use the cream cheese and they still worked out fine. Hope you had a fabulous Halloween!

The olives stayed stuck on without the cream cheese? I am so making these!
