Planet Beauty to Host an Evening Filled with Benefaction and Beauty

Benefiting The Orange County Chapter of JDRF!

Last week my daughter and I walked into the new Planet Beauty store in The Bluffs shopping center in Newport to kill some time before her dentist appointment.  I had to get some face cream and she of course was having a good ‘ol time making herself up which entailed eye shadow under her eyes so she looked like a football player.  I had a chance to talk with the nice girls who work there and they told me about an upcoming event they are hosting that will benefit The Orange County Chapter of JDRF.  The JDRF is the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Driven by passionate, grassroots volunteers connected to children, adolescents, and adults with this disease, JDRF is now the largest charitable supporter of T1D research.

The Event:

On the evening of Thursday, December 5^th 2013, Planet Beauty will be hosting an evening full of benefaction and beauty, benefiting the Orange County Chapter of JDRF. They are inviting community leaders, JDRF supporters, and Planet Beauty guests to mix, mingle and shop from 4-8 pm. Planet Beauty will be donating 20% of the evening’s total sales, in addition to all proceeds stemming from raffle efforts, directly to this outstanding organization. Guests will also enjoy Mini Makeovers, Brow Makeovers, Speedy Hair Styling Sessions, Mini Facials, Deluxe Product Applications, and more! Experts from lines including: Caudalie, Perricone, Sarah Potempa, Too Faced Cosmetics, Jf Lazartigue, Epicuren, Anastasia Beverly Hills & Jane Iredale Cosmetics will be in attendance. All RSVPS will also receive a VIP Beauty Bag valued at $75.
