Have I mentioned that I am a sucker for balloons? No? Oh, well, I am like a little kid when I get a bunch of balloons for a birthday or other celebration. It doesn’t matter if I receive them as a gift or I am buying them for my daughter – there is just something so wonderful about seeing a bunch of balloons! I like this idea I found on Pinterest. And it would make for a cool display. Just a make sure to get a mirrored table runner so they can display their colored paper confetti onto it. By providing some disposable cameras for your guests to use as they wish is a guaranteed laugh once you get them developed! We did this at our wedding and had some really funny pictures taken by our friends and family. Image found at Pinterest.
Provide some props:
I made some of these props for my daughter’s 7th carnival-themed birthday party and they are super easy to make! Just get thick black craft paper at your local craft store, some wooden sticks or striped paper straws and cut out the images you want to use and glue them on. I agree about the balloons, they make party. The cameras are a great idea, we did this at our wedding before there was cell phones.
