Dwell :: Decorating Tips for some Halloween Fun

Every mid-September my daughter and I are itching to get our Halloween decorations up!  We get very excited about this time of year and I am always on the look-out for some DIY ideas I can incorporate into our home and outdoor décor.  We host our annual Halloween neighborhood party so I like to make sure it is fun for the kids and big kids alike.  Here are some simple and fabulous Halloween décor ideas to try out!  Can’t wait to make that eyeball wreath for our front door!  Which craft do you think you’ll make?  Enjoy.

Paint It On:

The style for the past couple years has been to paint your pumpkins as well as carve them!  I like this stenciled in pumpkin you can put on your front porch. Tutorial found on Shelterness.
