Enjoy Some Halloween Haunts at Disneyland

This is such a great time of year from visits to the pumpkin patch to the wonderful Halloween decorations that can be seen throughout your neighborhood and town.  We absolutely love this time of year and look forward to that first bite of pumpkin pie for the season!  One of our favorite places to visit during Halloween season is Disneyland.  We love heading over to Disneyland to check out their Halloween Haunts!  Their Halloween special events and décor start on September 12th and lasts through October 31st.

Don't be scared... The Haunted Mansion is a blast for the whole family!

Disneyland at Halloween is a Blast!

To read all the fun events they have planned go here.  There is a long list of fun to be had that includes the Haunted Mansion Holiday, brought to you by Jack Skellington, from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the residents of Halloween Town.  Make sure to check out the scary phantasms on Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. And you must drop in for ghostly encounters and hair-raising thrills at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.  I never in a million years thought I would try this ride since it taps into most of my fears: heights, small spaces, falling down an elevator, the paranormal, etc.!  But guess what I said after my first nail-biting experience?  I LOVE this ride! It is a ton of fun and quite exhilarating – that is if you like the feeling of falling down 7 floors in an escalator.  Yikes is right!  If you want something a tad less hair-raising, make sure to take a walk down Main Street, U.S.A., and see the hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins on display—and no two alike.

Big Thunder Ranch Offers Lots of Halloween Fun:

And make sure to stop in Big Thunder Ranch.  My daughter and I visited it last week and spent a few hours in there enjoying all the fun carnival games, gorgeous pumpkins like this guy and tons more.  There are shows constantly going up on stage and they really engage the audience in their performances.  It is quite fun.
