2015 Spring Fashion Trends You Won’t Want to Miss!

According to Refinery 29 some trends we will see this spring include gingham (love), fringe (can work in small doses), bell bottom pants (glad the skinny jean is going away) and ruffles (on the fence with this trend).  I like to add in some trendy pieces each season and recently purchased a fun overnight bag with some fringe from Anthropologie that works as a perfect bag for trips.

Other trends we see this season include white on white, black and white, white and blue, yellow and culottes.  You need to pick out items that work for you though!  I love yellow on my husband – just not on me!  Greens, blue and black would probably be more my style.  Pantone recently released the top hues for spring/summer 2015 and include colors like Aquamarine, Scuba Blue, Classic Blue, and Lucite Green, and include cool and calming colors. Florals are In:

I love this look and think it is feminine but has a bit rock star quality to it all at the same time.  With all the floral prints I see a simple shirt that you probably already have in your closet.  This cute outfit and other ideas found on StyleBlueprint.

 

 

 

Look for florals that are big and easy to see the print according to the what was seen walking down the runway during Fashion Week. Some trends can be a bit much and don’t seem pratical for us moms, but this one definitely is something we could all wear!  Time to go looking for some floral skirts or pants. Leopard is Back!

Color Trends for Spring/Summer 2015

Pantone has announced Marsala as 2015’s color of the year.  I do love this color and think it goes with just about any skin tone.  There is a really great infographic about the colors popular this season and be found on Hot Beauty Health.
