7 Tips to Throw a Fabulous Spring Party!
Recently my friend Colleen threw a very cute Easter party for our Brownie Troop that I wanted to share with you! I thought so many of the ideas could be used for a garden or spring party. This is such a happy time of year don’t you think? Why not celebrate the beginning of spring or summer with a little party! Hope you enjoy these cute ideas!
Greet Your Guests:
I love this idea so much we used it at our DisneySide party as well as our neighborhood Easter party.
It is such a great way to add some fun into the party! Just make sure to ask your kids if you can borrow theirs!
It’s Spring!
These colorful paper lanterns always add so much to any party! If you have a place to tie them up by all means use them! And love this mini chalkboard that you can use on the main table. Very cute!
My friend, Colleen, who hosted the party says she finds the best deals on eBay for tablecloths. Turns out you can get a vintage-style bedspread at a much cheaper price than if you bought it as a tablecloth! I love all the ones she used at the party so might have to check out eBay!
Displaying the food:
I’ve been meaning to invest in one of these industrial-style 3-tiers and I plan to check out Amazon after I finish this post! My friend says she has had this one forever and uses it at home to display her children’s artwork or little crafts they create at home. I think it’s a great way to display food at a party – which by the way – keep it easy on yourself. Order in some sandwiches from your local grocery store! I loved how she used powered donut holes and called them bunny tails. Very fun.
Add in lots of color:
This could be done with decorations as well as food! I saw this on Pinterest and volunteered to make it for the party. It took me less than 10 minutes to put this fruit egg tray together but it sure looks happy don’t you think? I like having fruit available at parties besides the sweets so we can try (at least try) to have the kids eat a little healthy! You can get some more ideas on our Easter/Spring Pinterest Board.
Party time!
Keep them busy! Why not set up a separate table and have the kids do some cookie decorating and crafts.
Decorate Cookies!
This is always a hit as you can see by the look on my daughter’s face! Plus it is an easy activity to keep the kids busy and happy!
Put little stands at each table:
You can either make the sugar cookies or just buy some at your local grocery store. Then get some sprinkles and frosting for the kids to decorate to their hearts desire!
Spring-themed craft:
Colleen had the kids decorate sugar cookies as well as this cute Bunny craft. Look on Pinterest for some simple Springtime crafts for the kids to enjoy at the party.
Hope you found some ideas you can use at your next spring or garden party! Thanks Colleen for sharing your fun party with us!
