Recently I saw a commercial showing a robotics drone that flies and can take photographs and videos all directed by our hand. So when I was asked to do a review for the new 3D Robotics Solo Drone available now at Best Buy I was super excited to learn more about this drone. I mean how cool is this product? The 3DRobotics Solo Drone was created by an innovative American company and is providing access to aerial views that only those in helicopters or planes could photograph! It is the first-ever drone powered by two integrated Linux computers and makes capturing the perfect shot easy for anyone.
Solo can define its own flight, freeing users to focus on getting the perfect shot. This intelligent drone is also the first to support full control of GoPro® cameras and deliver live HD video either wirelessly to your mobile device or through the controller’s HDMI port for live broadcasts. The Solo’s video game-style controller is really user friendly and easy to navigate even if you’ve never flown a drone. Pushbutton commands put both camera and copter at your fingertips.
You have to check out this cool video of the smart drone. I would love to have one of these on our next trip! Imagine the images you could get from above. Solo, the Smart Drone arrived in over 400 Best Buy stores on June 8, just in time for Father’s Day!
