My daughter and I saw Cinderella in the movie theater about five times.  That is how much we fell in love with the movie.  From the gorgeous dresses to wonderful message about having courage and being kind – both of us loved watching the movie.  The animation is fantastic and it is so fun watching the mice turn into beautiful and strapping white horses and the lizards turn into rather interesting-looking coachmen!  And of course, Lilly James who plays Cinderella is amazing!  When you watch her be transformed into that Cinderella with the gorgeous ball gown you can’t help but feel like you are eight years old again where anything is possible and magic really does exist. It does though doesn’t it?! And Prince Charming, played by Richard Madden definitely looks and plays the part perfectly.

What’s not to love about Cate Blanchett though she plays the evil stepmother, she plays her so well and has a deliciously evil laugh. When you see the movie you’ll know what I mean! Everyone is top-notch in this movie and the evil stepsisters and even the fairy godmother, played by the other-worldy Helena Bonham Carter all give powerful and believable performances. It is such a wonderful movie and I am thrilled we were provided with a copy to hand out in a giveaway!
