Join us on an Adventure with Tomorrowland’s and Aladdin Imagineers!
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them” -Walt Disney
For years I have been secretly hoping I’d be invited to attend a Disney media event and dreams do come true as this past week I was asked to attend the Tomorrowland, Aladdin and Disney Movies Anywhere Media Event. I hope you’ll join us as we share our interviews with a group of inspiring ‘Disney Dreamers,’ from filmmakers, talent and entrepreneurs to imagineers and an award winning chef who embody Walt Disney’s legacy of creativity, optimism and innovation.
Some of the talent we will be speaking with include Brad Bird, Director of Tomorrowland (and The Incredibles and Ratatouille), and Thomas Robinson (Young Frank) and Raffey Cassidy (Athena). Also, Mike Goslin, the VP of Production and Content at Disney Consumer Products and Charita Carter, Producer of Disney Imagineering. I’ll be Periscoping from the different events so be sure to check in from time to time! My Periscope account is under Melissa Northway.
On our second day we will be speaking with the Aladdin Genie animator Eric Goldberg. I am really excited to speak to this talented group of imagineers and do let me know if you have any questions you’d like us to ask! Just post on our Facebook page.
Have you seen Tomorrowland yet? What did you think of the movie? My daughter and I really enjoyed it in the theaters when it came out and we watched it again this weekend in preparation for the event. We both are such fans of sci-fi and fantasy movies (she gets that from me) and I thought this movie had such interesting ideas about our future. What did you think?
And Aladdin is celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary by being released on DVD for the first time ever! I have heard from several friends that this is their all-time favorite Disney movie. We watched it this weekend and my daughter keeps asking to watch it again and again! She said her favorite character is the genie who is voiced by the talented Robin Williams.
We hope you’ll come along for the ride! Just follow #Disneyland60, #Tomorrowlandbloggers and #Aladdinbloggers on Twitter and see some great pictures from the park and from our interviews with the Imagineers.
See you soon!
