- Collect, recycle, reuse – don’t limit yourself and let your imagination play!
Mother Nature offers so many natural treasures that are perfect to create a beautiful décor, no matter the style of your interior, from the famous pumpkins to all the fresh fruits available this season with their beautiful shapes and warm colors, like apples, pears or even pomegranates, from the fresh autumn flowers to the dry tree leaves.

Combined with a beautiful porcelain plate or an antique bowl, vintage lanterns, crystal glasses, old glass jars or pretty weaved baskets, and candles of various sizes and shapes, you can create a real beautiful and warm décor for your home.
Don’t forget nuts, dry fruits, acorns and pinecones, ears of wheat and lavender, and cinnamon sticks to the composition, for a nice, autumnal scent!

- Add throws and pillows, everything cozy
Create an autumnal and cozy atmosphere by swapping out your pillows in lightweight summer fabric, for velvet ones in earthy shades like dark brown, bronze, pumpkin, beige, and bottle green.
Add a few coordinating throws on your sofa and chairs. The throws can be in wool, suede or leather looking fabric. Plaids are one of my favorite options.
Place a few candles here and there, and you’re ready to enjoy a good book and hot chocolate by the fireplace!
In the bedrooms, same strategy! Change the light summer bedding for heavier linens in rich fall shades to make it even cozier.

- Create your own beautiful wreath
Let your imagination and creativity play and make beautiful wreaths to ornate your front door, your walls, even your fireplace.
Use paper or real leaves, feathers, branches, fruits or flowers. Add glitter, mini pumpkins, berries, or lavender. Tie a pretty bow, glue a welcome sign. Voila! Your house becomes unique and welcoming.

- Use succulents in your compositions
Most of the succulents wear naturally, and all year long the beautiful colors of autumn. Why don’t use them in our fall décor, especially for those living in So Cal?
In a wreath or glued on top of your classic pumpkin, they will be both beautiful and original. Plus, you will be able to replant them at the end of the season!

- This year, why not choose a different color palette?
We all know that Greens, Reds, and Oranges are the traditional colors of the fall.
But why not change your color scheme this year, and use a more neutral palette with off-whites, and different tones of greens, for example?
Add baskets, branches, why not antlers, and white feathers, and your décor gets instantly both subtle and elegant. It will easily match your existing one, especially if you already have colors.
