THE FINEST HOURS Highlights Americans Can-Do Spirit and Bravery
Since I first saw the previews for THE FINEST HOURS I have been counting the months until it premieres. I really like all the actors involved – what’s not to like about Eric Bana, Chris Pine, Casey Affleck and Ben Foster? All the stars and supporting cast do a wonderful job of bring these heroic story to life.
You’ll recognize Holliday Grainger from Cinderella (she plays one of the evil stepsisters) but is so adorable and feisty in THE FINEST HOURS you can’t help but root for her.

My husband and I had a chance to check out an early screening of the movie last night and I am here to tell you friends it is SO good! I have not stopped thinking about the movie and am obsessed now with learning more about this true story.
It shows the American spirit at it’s best and you have to keep reminding yourself that it is based on a real events because so many of them seem unbelievable. I plan on ordering the nonfiction book as well.
