Dwell :: Personalize Your Home with Canvas Factory Prints

There are a ton of ways to showcase all those pictures you are taking of the kids, your trips, just life in general.  You could use just black and white photographs which look amazing grouped together, or mix and match canvas sizes. Here are some of our favorite ways to display canvas prints.

Black and White Display:

It’s become extremely popular to date to use your own photographs and do the straight from photo to canvas options. More and more are opting to forgo the standard abstract or even traditional art work and instead use personalized photos of their loved ones in their place. The options that you have allow you to do this in a unique yet sophisticated way or theme that fits your style. Along with that you have various filters and effects that can change a photo by a touch of a button (on your phone or PC) and today a lot of them are free which is an added bonus. This helps if you’re wanting to use some family shots in a vintage or retro style – by selecting that effect or filter for each personalized print they’re adjusted to the style you want in that particular area and space.

Make sure when you select the photos you want to use for your canvas prints that you have familiarized yourself with the different options. For instance, if you choose: Gallery Style Blank Wrap the image doesn’t wrap around the sides as the sides are white; Gallery Style Color Wrap is similar to the Blank Wrap only you choose the color for the sides. Just remember that you will want a color that compliments as the sides are visible. Those are just a couple of the wrapping options; then you have choices for your layouts. It’s so much fun to take a spectacular photo you happened to get on a family vacation and split the image! Or even making a mosaic. There’s so many ways to showcase your personalized prints throughout your home and then being creative with how you decide to display them. It’s easy (and addicting) and adds not only a touch of nostalgia but takes those beautifully captured moments and allows others to share in them with you all the while placing a smile across your face each and every time you look at it.

And remember when you hang your prints the sky is the limit. Literally. Think outside the box and look around the room or area your eye tends to rest upon. It may be a great place to add a picture or three. From a balcony area in your foyer to your favorite nook where you like to read. Look at the rooms and areas at various times of the day to see how the light is captured or perhaps you want to shine a light directly on a canvas too. It’s your home and your rooms and you should let your imagination go a bit “wild” – have free reign and take it all in without being afraid to express anything from a tribute of a loved one to just what makes you happy.

Canvas Factory provides high quality canvas prints at an affordable price. They believe in providing the best canvas printing services to ensure that your photos are preserved on canvas exactly as you want them, easily and conveniently.
