BeachFront Cinema – JAWS – August 19
BeachFront Cinema is the premier outdoor movie experience, which takes place on the beautiful sandy beaches of Southern California. This one of a kind event consists of a reserved, premium area on the California State Beach, featuring one of the largest inflatable, outdoor movie screens in California. With top end production elements including theater quality projection and sound, BeachFront Cinema also features plush, jumbo beanbags, food vendors, live bands, beach bar, contests, games and some of the most amazing sunsets on the West Coast.
BeachFront Cinema will showcase a variety of different movie genres throughout the summer from blockbuster smash hits, family favorites to cult classics. Guests are invited to bring their lowback chairs, or purchase VIP tickets and sit in our plush, jumbo beanbags with reserved upfront seating!
BeachFront Cinema will produce a minimum of 10 movie dates from April – October 2017 at Huntington State Beach, as well as additional dates throughout Southern California!

The Triangle is celebrating its 25th anniversary with Sizzling Summer Sounds, a weekly music series kicking off July 12 from 5 to 8pm, and continuing every Wednesday evening through August 23. The live music, held in the upper level courtyard between Saddle Ranch Chop House and La Vida Cantina, will feature guitarists, duos and solo artists performing a variety of genres to appeal to everyone in the community.

Emmy winner cover band, The Fab Four will perform live at the Pacific Amphitheatre August 5 at 8 pm to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. They will play the whole album in its entirety that will include groundbreaking hits like “Strawberry Fields Forever,” “Penny Lane,” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” “With a Little Help from My Friends” and “A Day in the Life.”

The Irvine Animal Care Center hosts two large adoption events throughout the year, as well as various donation drives and smaller activities to support animals in need. Upcoming events and donations drives include:

Through Aug. 31. Don’t miss out on making your furry, feathered or scaled friend a star! With a $25 entry fee donation, you can submit your pet’s picture for guaranteed inclusion in the 2018 Irvine Animal Care Center calendar. Your pet will also be in the running to be one of the 13 lucky pets chosen by staff and volunteers to be featured as a full-page Pet of the Month in the calendar. Melissa
Melissa Northway, M.S. is a mom, founder of dandelion moms, and a children’s book author. Her award-winning book Penelope the Purple Pirate was inspired by her little tomboy. Penelope is a modern-day Pippi Longstocking who teaches girls and boys the importance of having fun while at the same time teaching them to be kind and respectful of others and their differences.
