THE CALIFORNIA MILK PROCESSOR BOARD TAPS INTO CALIFORNIA SKATE CULTURE AND SKATE GREATS – CHRIS COLE, CHRISTIAN HOSOI AND TOM ASTA – VIA NEW BRAND INITIATIVE “BONES LOVE MILK& IMMERSIVE, POP-UP SKATEPARK EXPERIENCE

WHO: The California Milk Processor Board (CMPB), creator of the iconic got milk? campaign, is launching a new brand initiative targeting teens and tweens called Bones Love Milk. The effort is dedicated to educating youth on the real benefits of milk as “nature’s energy drink” in an unconventional way, showcasing how milk can deliver the calcium, protein, and other nutrients for strong, healthy bones and muscles that skaters need in order to bounce back onto their boards quickly after a hard fall..

WHAT: CMPB will kick-off its Bones Love Milk initiative this summer with the introduction of its official 2019 Bones Love Milk Skate Team and the opening of an immersive, pop-up installation celebrating California skate culture. The Bones Love Milk Shredquarters, an indoor pop-up skatepark experience will feature a week-long program (July 27 – August 4) of skate events including daily open skate sessions, pro tutorials and a Street League watch party.
