THINK LIKE A DOG Comes to Blu-ray, DVD, Digital, and On Demand

THINK LIKE A DOG Comes to Blu-ray, DVD, Digital, and On Demand June 9th – Stars Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel

Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox star in this whimsical family comedy about a boy and his dog, and a science project that will change all of their lives forever. Think Like a Dog follows 12-year-old Oliver, a tech prodigy whose middle-school science fair experiment goes awry, creating a telepathic connection between him and his furry friend, Henry. The bond brings Oliver and Henry even closer as they join forces to comically overcome complications at school, and help Oliver’s parents rekindle their marriage along the way. If you are an animal lover you don’t want to miss this movie. It’s a great family film!

At the end of May I had a chance to do an exclusive digital press event with THINK LIKE A DOG’S canine star, Henry, dog trainer Sarah Clifford, writer/director Gil Junger and star Gabriel Bateman. It was the first time I participated in a Zoom press event and it was actually pretty cool! Sarah Clifford started off with showing us some tricks Henry recently learned and mentioned that most dogs are very motivated by food. So if you have wanted to teach your dog some new tricks be sure to grab their favorite treats! I am still trying to figure out how to get my big boy, Max, to chase the tennis ball as he wants nothing to do with it!

Next we interviewed the writer and director Gil Junger and Jason Bateman’s talented son Gabriel Bateman. Kudos to Jason and his wife as Gabriel is one of the sweetest teenagers I have come across! Mr. Junger said that he was inspired to write this movie while going through his own painful divorce. He said it helped him get through this difficult time by coming up with ideas on what his dog might be thinking. In our household, each of our pets has a voice that we joke around and we come out with things we think they might be thinking – if they could talk. Yes, we are a crazy crew.

Gabriel said one of his favorite days on the set was the first and last day. The first day because it was so exciting to meet all the actors he would be working with over the next couple months. And the last day because the crew blindfolded him and took him outside in a group to surprise him. They told him to take off his blindfold and the entire cast and crew all had cans of silly string and proceeded to cover him from head to toe. He said he couldn’t stop laughing and it was a moment he won’t ever forget. I thought that would be a fun birthday party idea – for all ages!

I loved Mr. Junger’s energy and he was so enthusiastic about working with Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Gabriel Bateman and Kunai Nayyar. He was one of my favorites to interview because of his zest for life and his project!

Be sure to grab this adorable and sweet movie the whole family will love. Any dog lover is going to fall in love with this movie.
