Families Together Helping SoCal communities during COVID
This past year has been challenging on so many levels for many people. This year more than most, we need to come together as a community and help support those most in need. Every year, Dandelion Women Project Kindness supports nonprofits and this year we are helping Families Together in gathering new toys for their Christmas Toy Drive that will be held December 19th and 20th at their center in Tustin located at 661 W. First street, Tustin, CA 92780.
If you would like to support this organization please drop off unwrapped toys at their location below. They will have a toy bin inside the doors specifically for our Dandelion Women community. Thank you so much for your support! This year they had over 4,000 families sign up to receive support for their family and the organization is currently about 2,000 toys short. Let’s see what our amazing community can do to help.
About the event:
Families Together of Orange County “Christmas Together event” is going to take place on Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The event is going to be conducted via drive through on our Wellness Center Parking lot. Due to the new COVID 19 surge and to follow the CDC guidelines they had to scale down the event, but they are still going to decorate the parking lot as a Santa’s workshop-Winter wonderland to give the 1,500 (around 6,000 children) families that registered a magical and fun time as they pick up their toys (Staff members will place the toys on the trunk of the car). They will make sure to keep all the safety precautions, by wearing the necessary protective gear and keeping the recommended social distancing.

If you are unable to drop off some toys you can donate here.
Dandelion Moms Project Kindness was started to help spread seeds of kindness in our communities, country and abroad. Since we started we have helped created a community library in the Dominican Republic, provide arts and crafts for an school for Autistic children and provide over 200 Project Night Night tote bags to survivors of domestic abuse.
