6 Gorgeous and Unique Fall Centerpieces

I really do just love this time of year!  From the Fall weather (though you wouldn’t know it out here in Southern California – yes, I am complaining of the heat wave mid October!) to fall fashion and home décor.  This year I wanted to get some ideas for some pretty centerpieces that I could make through the holidays.  Here are some of my favorites!

Add in some fruit:

This is such a pretty centerpiece.  I love how they used a silver pitcher as the vase.  This design comes from Rosa Beltran Design.

Use a Pumpkin:

This centerpiece was used for a wedding but I love how they used a cream pumpkin, mixed in some billy balls, eucalyptus leaves, and hydrangea flowers.  So pretty! There are over 50 centerpiece ideas found on Deer Pearl Flowers including this beauty!

Squash it up!

This is a really fun idea as well.  Love the idea of using squashes as vases.  This idea found on Intimate Weddings.

Orange and more orange please:

I am always a fan of using lemons, mini pumpkins, pomegranates,  etc., in clear vases to add to your centerpiece. Image found on Pinterest and Lady Lux.

Who needs a vase?

This clever idea can be found on Deer Pearl Flowers.  I love succulents so this caught eye.  That and the pretty fresh cranberries and artichoke on a white platter.

So I wanted to recreate some of these ideas and picked up some flowers from our local supermarket along with some pretty mini pumpkins.  It took no time at all!

You will need:

Some fall flowers like Gerber Daises, billy balls and greenery.

mini pumpkins

Place the mini pumpkins at the bottom of your glass vase.  Fill it with water.

Cut the bottom of the flowers – I like to leave them a little longer than I need so I can cut accordingly as I place them in the vase.  It is always easier to cut the stems shorter than to cut them too short off the bat!  That is the worst!  Arrange the flowers in the center, placing them in between the pumpkins.  The pumpkins will help keep them in place.  Then add in the greenery.  I placed the billy balls last so you can see where it might need some more oomph!   That’s it!  So next time you are at your grocery store pick up some of your favorite Fall flowers for an inexpensive and easy centerpiece.
