The Perfect Playdate For Your Kids

This week we invited a couple friends from school and hosted a dance party at our house.  I figured the kids always need to let off some steam after school and what better way to do that than a dance party in our living room?!

Just Dance: Disney Party 2 was released this fall and provides a great way to entertain the kids this holiday season.  Or if you need a little break, have your kids host a little party themselves.  I promise this fun video will keep them entertained for quite some time.  Plus they are getting some great exercise dancing around the living room! Just Dance Disney Party 2 features songs from the hottest Disney Channel Movies and Shows including Descendents, Girl Meets World and Girl vs. Monster.

With any party food is key!  I put out some cheese, salami, crackers, cookies (Albertson’s makes the best chocolate chip cookies – keep it simple moms!), and hot cocoa.   I had the kids eat a little snack before our dance party.

The kids were pretty excited but weren’t sure what to expect. They did know the shows that were featured so this peaked their interest! What is so cool about these games is that it places them IN the hit songs.  Each person that connects with the XBOX screen will appear in the upper right hand corner.  So you can have several kids playing along (and have their score tallied) the game.

They took turns choosing the songs they wanted to dance to.  Our guests ranged in ages from nine to around two years old.  I would have to say our little guy boogied the most (his mom told he loves to dance!) but all the kids really got into the game.

Just Dance is bringing fun to every Disney Channel fan and their family this holiday season with Just Dance: Disney Party 2, the second Just Dance Disney title in the best-selling music video game franchise of all time.  The game features more than 20 tracks from the hottest Disney Channel hits, with songs from movies like “Descendants” and “Teen Beach 2” as well as shows like “Girl Meets World” and “Liv and Maddie.”

Our group really liked the song from The Descendants and had a blast dancing along with the evil witch. And my daughter really liked Better in Stereo from the Liv and Maddie show.  There are over 20 songs to choose from so the kids have lots to keep them entertained and having fun.
