The Eagle Huntress Debuts on
Blu-ray™, DVD & Digital February 7.
Set against the majestic, snow-capped mountains of Mongolia this movie follows 13-year-old Aisholpan as she trains to become the first female eagle hunter in 12 generations of her Kazakh family. Her determination to follow in the tradition of her father and forefathers shines through as she scales down the side of a mountain to capture her own eagle and as she overcomes opposition from members of the male-dominated sport to compete in the annual Golden Eagle competition. Directed by Otto Bell and narrated by Daisy Ridley (Star Wars franchise).
The Eagle Huntress is a visually stunning epic documentary that will inspire girls to reach for their dreams. It is beautiful in its honesty as it captures a small slice of Aisholpan’s life and the Mongolian culture.
