Disney Princess: Story Theater App Review and Giveaway

My daughter and I had a good time reviewing this app together.  Just this morning she was making her own film with my iPhone featuring our big orange cat and her Puffles… so when I asked her to review the Disney Princess: Story Theater app with me where she is able to create and record her own story – she was all in! Imaginations will run wild with the newest Disney Learning app that celebrates creativity and storytelling skills. Children and their families can join Cinderella, Belle, and Ariel on new adventures – created by the very readers themselves.

Disney Princess: Story Theater: Encourages Creativity:

The app opens up and the first step is to Choose a Character.  We are able to choose between three princesses – Cinderella, Belle or Ariel.  The narrator tells us that by touching the princess while filming allows us to record our own voice and narration. And by pinching the princess with your fingers – you can make her bigger or smaller depending on what you want to create.  My daughter  chose Ariel as her first princess and we are then shown a couple options of the setting which included a ship under the sea.  This feature is called Choose a Place. A buried treasure ship was definitely her choice (or was it mine?).  We are then asked to Choose a Prop.  This included some mean eels (she picked these guys) and some musical instruments.

For Belle’s adventure you are able to chose between three backgrounds including a forest with a large castle in the background.  Then we are able to pick between a couple characters we want to include in the story.

Every princess has a story – Cinderella goes to the ball and meets Prince Charming, Belle discovers an enchanted old castle with a magical cast of characters, and Ariel leaves her home under the sea for an adventure on land. I love how this app allows them to use their imagination with a fun group of characters and props.  Plus you are able to name the movie, list the Director, save it and watch it as many times as you want!
