The Angry Birds Movie Blu-ray/DVD Out 8/16 & Giveaway

    August 15, 2016 /

The #AngryBirdsMovie is ready to take flight directly into your homes via Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray 3D combo pack and DVD (loaded with bonus material) on Tuesday, August 16th. The digital version made its debut on July 29th. The Angry Birds Movie had a very successful box office run and was based on the most downloaded app of all time (3.5 billion!); it quickly became one of the highest-grossing video game based films to date. We recently had the pleasure to speak with Producer, John Cohen [Ice Age; Despicable Me; Hop and many others – as Producer and Exec] and learned a little more about The Angry Birds Movie. Let…

A New Way to Chat and Snap Via Picpal

    May 17, 2016 /

Ever wanted an app that allowed you to message, take pictures (not just selfies), and allowed you to talk with your friends or family (privately) – all together? Well, picpal is that app! What’s more it doesn’t matter if you have an iDevice or an Android (sorry, Windows app store is not currently available); and that means a lot as not all families and friends are in the same camp when it comes to their phones or tablets. You’re able to sign up with picpal through Facebook or now via email – after their recent update and as many (lots and lots) didn’t like that it was Facebook dependent. Smart move in my…

Being a Mom (What it Means to Me)

    May 8, 2016 /

Trying to put into words what being a mom is – to me. It’s hard. I can’t explain it. It’s like a combination of feelings, words, hope, happiness, sometimes sadness and/or grief, being scared or nervous, anticipation, wonderment and awe, as if every feeling I’ve ever experienced is multiplied times a thousand and it leaves me at a loss for words. It’s not simple … yet it is. When I look at my two kids I can instantly see them as if they were just placed into my arms. I can see them or imagine them when they’re graduating or getting married or having children of their own. It’s rewarding…

Still Using the Power Pressure Cooker (Pt 2)

    February 25, 2016 /

Most of you know if you read my last post about the Power Pressure Cooker XL that I am experimenting and trying some of my tried and true – regular oven/stove top made recipes in it. Obviously, I am still using it (almost daily) and I’m still in awe of it and daily feel as if someone gave me magic beans! I still love being a “lemming” / having a “lemming pot” and the best part is that the kids are really enjoying – and I mean REALLY enjoying their food too! Never has food tasted as flavorful before. I mean I can cook and felt like I was a…
