Last year I came across a picture of the sweetest little girl I could imagine and had to find out more about her. Her mom, Tara McCallan, started the Happy Soul Project right after the birth of her daughter, Pip, who was born with Down Syndrome and some health issues. She wanted to show to the world, through Pip, that being different is cool and beautiful. I think her message and the work she is doing to bring awareness to Down Syndrome is truly inspirational. The Rancho Bernardo Inn Provides a Unique Experience
We had a chance to check out the Rancho Bernardo Inn last weekend as part of their INNfluencer program and was delighted to spend my (forever 28) birthday weekend there! Located in San Diego in a rather quaint neighborhood (you drive through several neighborhoods to get to the serene resort), you are immediately put at ease by the warm and welcoming vibe of the resort. Crafts :: PomPom Fish
There is something really fun about making pompoms. I love to play with the yarn and make different color combinations in different sizes. They are so very cute to decorate a present with or to make a garland. I have even made colorful mobiles. You can leave them as is, or you can give them fins and eyes and turn them into fish. You will need: Yarn card stock scissors felt glue gun googly eyes at the end of the post is the ‘donut’ shape and the fins template to print out Cut 2 ‘donuts’ out of card stock.
