    March 30, 2013 /

My intention this week was to do all these great crafts, egg hunts and activities centered around Easter with my daughter.  But then life steps in and things come up so I ended up doing about half of what I had intended to do!  We are planning on doing some last minute crafts tomorrow morning that I found online that I wanted to share with you.  Most of the crafts require materials you probably already have in your house so you probably don’t need to make a special trip to the craft store.     Easter Tulips Craft:   What you’ll need Wooden kitchen skewers Green craft paint and paintbrush Tulip templates Scissors Scrapbook paper Glue stick This Tulip…

    March 29, 2013 /

Extreme Couponing – Money Saver or Time Waster? We have all seen those shows on TV that show the amazing moms who have turned coupon clipping into an art form.  They scour the local papers, grocery store inserts and the web for the best deals.  They utilize elaborate organization systems for making their shopping trips as productive as possible.  It is enough to make my head spin.  I am all about saving money and I have been known to clip a few coupons myself.  I even take advantage of a good deal or two in my local grocery store.  But savings is not just about dollars and cents.  Value…

    Fashion: Spring Fashion Tips

    March 28, 2013 /

Being from New York the change in season was always a big deal especially when it came to a change in wardrobe. 50 degrees? Let’s put on a bathing suit! Well, maybe not that drastic, but close. March 26, 2013 /

March 26th is National Purple Day that was created in 2008 by Cassidy Megan, a nine year old girl from Nova Scotia, Canada, who told her mother she wanted to create a day that would help people with epilepsy not feel alone. Cassidy knew first-hand what it felt like to be isolated as she was never invited over for sleepovers by her classmates due to her epilepsy condition.  Her goal was to help spread awareness about epilepsy and so she created National Purple Day!   Understanding and Supporting Those with Epilepsy Who is affected?
