Tips for Throwing an Awards Show Party!

    January 2, 2016 /

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #AwardWithSavings #CollectiveBias Throwing an awards show party? Does your family like to watch awards shows and cheer for your favorite actor and movie?  Each year we try to watch the movies that are up for an award so we can weigh in on our opinion, especially the family-friendly movies. Whenever I am hosting a party I visit our  local Albertson’s  because it is always stocked with fresh produce, meats, flowers, and now through January 12th you can get $5 off instantly when you buy $30 in participating P&G products*, plus get a FREE** movie ticket at checkout.  We…

Knott’s Berry Farm Offers Affordable Fun!

    January 1, 2016 /

Yesterday our family spent the New Year’s Eve at Knott’s Berry Farm and had so much fun enjoying the sights and sounds that this family-friendly amusement park offers.  From the Camp Snoopy to the more adventurous rides for daredevils (my daughter) they really have so much to offer.  I like that Knott’s Berry Farm is really affordable for families and that they offer 6 easy monthly payment plans for the Season Passes. They offer live entertainment, family-friendly rides, thrill rides, great food throughout the park and shopping.  It is a great place to visit throughout the year. Here are some of our favorite things to do at the park:   Visit…

    December 30, 2015 /

Tips to Incorporate the Color of the Year in your Interior Every year the Pantone Color Institute, the worldwide reference for colors for the design professionals, selects “The Color of the Year”, a symbolic color, which supposedly reflects the color trend of the year to come. Connecting with Loved Ones

    December 30, 2015 /

I really like when my job pushes me to think about things – about life, relationships, and ourselves.  This month as part of the Stonyfield YoGetters group I was asked to talk with my daughter about when she feels most loved by myself and my husband.  The question is not necessarily a tough one to ask but maybe the answers might be hard to hear in the sense of finding out whether I am doing enough of what makes her feel most loved. What do you think your kids would say if you asked them: “So when do you feel loved? What can mommy and daddy do to help you feel loved?”…
