This past week was the start of Camp Google featuring Sylvia Earle, marine biologist and Explorer-in-Residence at National Geographic and host of the first week of Camp Google. This online summer camp was created to spark curiosity in children with four weeks of live adventures geared towards students ages 7-10 now through August 7th. Minions :: A Movie Review, Giveaway and Party Ideas
We had a chance to attend a prescreening of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Minions a few weekends ago and I have to say it is my daughter’s absolute favorite movie she has seen so far this summer. I do think Inside Out is a close second since we’ve seen it five times already but something about these funny little yellow guys had our whole family laughing throughout the movie. Our whole family went to see Jurassic World opening weekend at our local theater and boy, was it a packed house! It seems like there are a lot of fans of this fun movie franchise – and for good reason! Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic series, starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. The Perfect Gift for Father’s Day!
Last week my daughter’s teacher gave this adorable succulent gift to the volunteer’s that helped out this year. She had all the children sign the glass vase with their names. I thought this would make the perfect Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Grandparent’s Day and yes, Teacher Appreciation Day gift!
