Apps with Curriculum Facebook Party! This month we are hosting another fun Facebook Party featuring PicPocket Books Apps with Curriculum, Cyndie Sebourn of Sascyn Publishing and other participating developers who are part of the Apps with Curriculum program. PicPocket Books has created a separate library on their website of apps that include a common core standard aligned reading activity. Cyndie Sebourn, a retired teacher has created Apps With Curriculum, www.appswithcurriculum.com, an educational technology service to develop Common Core-aligned lesson plans for book app developers. Ms Sebourn is a retired Arkansas educator, founded Apps With Curriculum to make educational apps better suited for classroom use. All curriculum is downloadable and free to access.…

Penelope’s 2nd Birthday Facebook Party
We are so excited to be celebrating Penelope’s 2nd birthday this coming Thursday, the 24th. The journey to create a children’s book from an idea that came to me while my husband was telling my daughter about Red Beard and his adventures on the high seas has been one filled with ups and downs. It isn’t easy to go after your dreams but I truly believe just about anything is possible if you believe you can do it! Holiday Facebook Party on December 12th
We love to put on Facebook parties as you probably have guessed by now but we are super excited about our upcoming party on December 12th for a couple reasons. For starters, this is a fun time of year if you don’t the craziness of it all get to you! It can be overwhelming trying to get “it” (shopping, parties, gifts, baking, holiday cards, etc.) all done in time. But take a hot cocoa break with your kids and just enjoy it as it goes by too quickly!
