Stuck On You :: Worlds Favorite Labeling and Gift Company
Can you believe it is almost summer? Time for summer camp and sleepovers at friends or grandma’s house. Recently, we were treated to a very cool overnight and sports bag from Stuck On You to try out. I really like this company’s products for several reasons. Their latest Penny Scallan Design lunchboxes are just perfect for school and camp because they are made with a material that makes it for easy clean-up. The inside material is insulated so it helps keep the food cool. And the sports bag is going to be perfect for sleepovers at her grandparents, soccer and any other occasion that calls for a duffle bag. There…

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX Tablet Makes a Perfect Gift
Image courtesy of xda developers Amazon recently released the Kindle Fire HDX 7.0 and 8.9 Tablets and we had a chance to review the new 8.9 tablet and I must say it was love at first sight. There are so many new features on their latest device that really makes it one powerhouse tablet! One of my favorite new additions is the front-facing HD camera. Now I can use it at conferences or when I am out-and-about – I can take pictures or videos and use them in posts or share with friends and family. For Mother’s Day, my husband promised a keyboard so that I can use it in place of…

Get Away Today Offers Affordable Disneyland Family Travel
Disney On the Brain: This past month has been a whirlwind of all things Disney! My family and I spent four days and three nights at the Disneyland Resort for the Disney Social Media Moms conference where I developed a newfound love for anything Disney. Disneyland really is a top notch family destination and the customer service is just wonderful! We stayed at the Disneyland Resort and I was so impressed with the quality of the food and our room. One of our favorite things in the room (besides the Mickey Mouse lights) was the backboard – when you flip a switch, the board lights up like there is a fireworks…

Disney’s The Pirate Fairy Review and Giveaway
We were so excited to see the new Disney Pirate Fairy movie this past week and ran out and purchased a copy at our local Walmart, got our popcorn and peanut MM’s and watched it three times in a row that day! Hey, I figured we were on spring break so why not?! I really like that they have a pirate fairy as the main character and that we learn about the beginnings of Captain Hook, the alligator who relentlessly chases Capt. Hook, and why does their pirate ship float? The Pirate Fairy is a 3D computer-animated fantasy film directed by Peggy Holmes and is the fifth film…

Smart Child Car Seat Could Save Lives
Image courtesy of Aneiros. Vehicular heat stroke deaths of children have gone up about 400% since 1992 (via Kids and Cars) and on average, one child dies every 10 days due to vehicular heat stroke (via Safe Kids WorldWide). A child’s body regulates body heat at 1/4th the efficiency as an adult. This means they heat up significantly faster than we do. A common misconception is that only “working” or “non-educated” class people are the ones who experience heat stroke deaths with children, when in reality it happens to people of all education and tax brackets. I remember hearing about a mother who drove to work and forgot to…
