History of Minnie Mouse and Daisy: Minnie Mouse was created by Ub Iwerks and Walt Disney. The comic strip story “The Gleam” (published January 19-May 2, 1942) by Merrill De Maris and Floyd Gottfredson first gave her full name as “Minerva Mouse.” Minnie has since been a recurring alias for her. One of my favorite shows of PBS Kids is the two-time Emmy Award winning daily series Curious George. I love how this classic story that we enjoyed as a kid is available for our kids to watch as a series. This week we purchased the newly released Wreck-It Ralph movie DVD and have watched it no less than 20 times! You could say we are big fans of Wreck-It Ralph in this household. My husband and I enjoy watching the movie because it reminds us of the days spent at our local arcade and my daughter loves all the silly jokes. Disney Brave Storybook App Review and Giveaway
Disney’s Brave movie received an Academy Award for “Best Animated Film” last week. I had a chance to review Disney Publishing’s two Brave apps, “Brave: Storybook Deluxe” and “Brave Interactive Comic,” (both rated 4 stars on iTunes!) that features the original characters, storyline, and new activities for kids.
