Krusteaz Baking Event this Saturday the 14th
I am excited to be one of the mom bloggers invited by Krusteaz to host a baking event this Friday in support of the Krusteaz and Weelicious blogger Catherine McCord baking event happening on Saturday, December 14th. They will be serving up some delectable baking and gifting ideas for the Krusteaz Virtual Holiday Baking Party so if you like to bake (bring on the cookies!) then you will love hanging out and talking about baking. My event will be taking place at a friends house tomorrow afternoon and we have loads of kids coming over to do some serious baking. If you want to tune in for the free webcast from across the country on Saturday, December 14…

Recipes :: Delicious Holiday Treats
Today we are officially starting our holiday baking craze. Last year we had a blast making some nutty balls (yes, that was the name of the cookie) and fudge for our neighbors, friends and the teachers over at my daughter’s school. I like to try out different recipes each year and last year I attempted my mother’s fudge recipe. The fudge turned out delicious and my husband wants to state for the record that he really made it since he was the one stirring it the whole time. One of My Favorite Restaurants in the World :: The Palace Grill
One of my favorite places in the world is Santa Barbara, California. There are many reasons why I love this city and dream of someday moving up there to retire. Luckily for me, he knew what place to stay at, where to get married (the Santa Barbara Courthouse), and even knew where he wanted to have our wedding reception at. He raved about a place called The Palace which…

Tis the season of celebrating with family, friends and holiday treats. Below are a few preventable tips to remember and also what do if the excitement overshadowed and thus the prevention was not heard. Overindulgence Prevention 101 1. Don’t go hungry to a party: Eat…

Dandelion Moms Project Kindness :: Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign
What is the dandelion moms Project Kindness? Well, every month we select an organization that is helping others in some capacity. One month we supported a grassroots non-profit organization that was helping to create a library filled with books in a small town in the the Dominican Republic. Another month we supported the Project Night Night that helps children in shelters feel safe and loved with a special tote bag that is filled with a children’s book, blanket and a stuff animal. It warms my heart to see our lovely dandelion moms helping in any way they can – even if it is sharing the post about an organization helping others and getting…
