RECIPE :: Chef Debbi Dubbs Apple Pecan Salad with Goat Cheese
Recently I’ve started collaborating with Melissa’s Produce which is headquartered in Los Angeles. It’s funny how things come full circle as I had contacted them over 20 years ago on behalf of a Japanese company I worked with who sold medicinal mushrooms. Of course I love the name of the company (ha), but honestly I appreciate that they offer such a large array of unique and delicious produce. Last week, I had a chance to meet Chef Debbi Dubbs at her “A Little Book of Cheese” book launch event held in Melissa’s Produce demo kitchen and sample some of her recipes. Luckily, Melissa’s Produce sent over three bags of their medley creamer potatoes and some fresh garlic and we made garlic, herb and Parmesan potatoes to go with our steak dinner. Potatoes are good for you! Potatoes are a great side dish for any occasion! Not…

Enjoy an Easy Family Dinner with a Sandwich Bar
Today’s post is sponsored by Eckrich Deli Meat but all opinions are my own. Now that school is back in session (yay!) moms can heave a big sigh because we now have a little extra time for ourselves which is always a good thing. I am always looking for simple, yet healthy meal options that don’t take a ton of time to prepare. That is why sandwich night is always a big hit in our house. We like to put out some ham, Swiss and cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, roasted bell peppers, yummy olives and pickles, a variety of bread, and everyone can pick and choose which type of sandwich…
