Prana Clothing Provides the Freedom to #JustBeYou
Since before the dawn of time, moms have enjoyed their athletic wear. Sounds like the opening of a rather interesting story. I’m kidding, but truthfully, on those days you just don’t have time to get dressed up or feel like it, there is nothing better than a comfortable but stylish outfit. I have tried so many different athletic brands over the years and the one I keep coming back to is Prana. Prana offers clothing that is comfortable for any type of lifestyle and activity. I really like the sweaters they offer and wore my last one until it was a ball of yarn. You could say it was a very…

Tips for Raising a Good Dog
I’ve mentioned that I grew up with pets my whole life. There were always a few cats and dogs, with a couple goldfish around the house and one year we had around 15 animals in our home. Yikes right?! Our Standard Poodle, Heidi, had some puppies so our house was pretty hectic. But I wouldn’t change any of that chaos as to this day I adore my furry family and really do look at them as part of our family. By starting in our homes and working with our children, we can implement simple measures and begin instilling techniques to raise awareness about stewardship in relation to our planet. This helps our youth grasp the impact we have on our environment and,…

Exploring the Outdoors with Your Kids
Raising Happy and Healthy Kids: What is the best way to keep our kids happy and healthy? Take them outside. Now do not get me wrong, this is not going to be some post about how our kids should never play video games (my daughter loves Minecraft) but we should not live in a society where it is considered a punishment for your kid if you take away the electronic devices and make them go outside to play. Keep it Simple: A lot of times as parents we overthink things. What kind of craft should we do? What kind of game should we play? I need to set up…

Brave Beginnings : Helping Preemies Thrive
It seems like most women I know either had a tough pregnancy or difficult birthing experience. Luckily, my pregnancy was pretty easy though I had to go in to the doctor’s office every other week for the first two trimesters because I was considered “high-risk” due to my age (anyone over 35 years of age is placed in this category). However, the delivery was anything but and between hemorrhaging due to a torn placenta and emergency C-section it was a tough ordeal. Because of the torn placenta and severe bleeding, my daughter was immediately taken to NICU for monitoring. I would go visit her in the NICU and most of the babies…
