Ever wonder what happened to the storybook characters we grew up with like the Mad Hatter, Snow White, and the Evil Queen? Turns out they are parents now too, and their children are studying at the enchanted high school of Ever After High, a boarding school for teens destined to follow in their famous parents’ fairytale footsteps. The all new original special Ever After High: Spring Unsprung, premiered this month on Netflix, and celebrates the idea that the story of your life is not written in permanent ink. Breakfast for Dinner: Cooking with Krusteaz
February is National Hot Breakfast Month and Krusteaz has officially named every Wednesday in February “Breakfast Night”! According to Krusteaz, a national survey found that nine out of ten Americans say they eat breakfast for dinner, with 56 percent doing so at least once a month. For families, the trend is even more prevalent as 67 percent of respondents with children in the household say they have breakfast for dinner once a month or more. Musings :: Making Memories Our Kids Will Treasure
Last night I was reminded how all that our kids really want (or need) is our time. Yes, our undivided time without interruptions – from other people, pets, gadgets, the phone, etc., etc. All those things that pull at us and are easy to get wrapped up into and take away our attention and focus from the here and now. I am at fault with this as anyone. It takes several mental reminders throughout the day to be in the moment. I constantly feel like I am being pulled in a million different directions throughout the day and I think other parents feel the same from time to…
