Delicious Homemade Cheese Enchiladas
Growing up in southern California you would think that naturally I had made homemade cheese enchiladas! But I hadn’t until this past weekend and all I could think was WHY?! This is such an easy meal to put together that the whole family will enjoy and would also be great to bring to your next potluck! Enjoy! Thanksgiving Books and Recipes to Share with the Kids
Image courtesy of Old Design Shop It’s almost Thanksgiving! Tis the season to be thankful! It’s always time to be thankful, of course, but I love this time of year because many people take the time to remind themselves and share with others what they are thankful for. This is a time to reconnect with my kids and discuss what we have to be thankful for. Date Night Just Got Better with the new app Movies Anywhere!

Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson and Ryan Reynolds, LIFE is a space thriller about the discovery of intelligent alien life. I am a huge fan of anything Sci-fi and this movie doesn’t disappoint! The ending was so shocking it made me want to see what happened next in this gripping story! PLEASE make LIFE 2 Mr. Espinosa and Skydance Media! You might want to check it out if you like this genre. One of the features I really like…

A Real Crowd Pleaser :: Raspberry Cream Cheese Dip
Thank you Breton for sponsoring this post. Make everyday entertaining better with Breton! I don’t know about you but with this ridiculous heat wave we are having in Southern California, the idea of cooking in a hot kitchen does not really sound that appealing! Granted, not everyone’s AC is broken (sigh) but I wanted to create something yummy for the family to enjoy on this hot summer night. We were asked to create a delicious recipe centered around the Breton Artisanal Cranberry and Ancient Grains crackers which, truthfully, taste amazing just by themselves! In fact, when I was preparing this recipe, my daughter came into the kitchen and asked…

Slow Cooker Jambalaya
Our family would love to visit New Orleans someday soon, but in the meantime we decided to bring a little Cajun food into the house! This recipe was found on All Recipes and is super tasty. Plus I love the slow cooker meals because it just takes a little prep time and the slow cooker does the rest. Add in some of your favorite corn muffins and you are set! Enjoy! You Will Need: 1 pound skinless, boneless organic chicken breast halves – cut into 1 inch cubes 1 pound andouille sausage, sliced 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice 1 large onion, chopped 1 cup chopped…
