Boys Need Help, Too: Old Spice Launches EduTaining Puberty Videos
Boys Need Help, Too: Old Spice Launches EduTaining Puberty Videos Sponsored Post This month, Old Spice Guy and actor Isaiah Mustafa (“Shadowhunters”) helped debut the NEW Old Spice School of Swagger, an online, video-based puberty curriculum available now at www.schoolofswagger.com. Developed by the same brand that has been helping guys navigate the seas of manhood for nearly 80 years, the four-part edutainment video series covers awkward topics guys face as they enter puberty, from that funky new smell to hair growth and oily skin. I was invited to attend the Old Spice School of Swagger event in Los Angeles a few weeks back to help launch the new edutainment…

The NUT JOB 2: Nutty by Nature Out in Theaters August 11th
Today is the day when The NUT JOB 2: Nutty by Nature comes out! You just might want to take the kids this weekend and check it out. We really enjoyed this movie and were laughing along with the kids. The cast in The NUT JOB 2 are amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with Will Arnett as the lead character. In The NUT JOB 2, Surly Squirell (Will Arnett) and the gang are back. We are once again in Oakton where the evil mayor has decided to bulldoze Liberty Park and build a dangerous amusement park in its place. Surly and his ragtag group of animal friends…

“One in a Melon” A Watermelon 1st Birthday Party
Theme: One in a Melon [Watermelon 1st Birthday Party] I was honored to collaborate with my best friend, Marissa Bell, on her daughters first birthday party. Here is her story of how she came up with this adorable theme one in a melon & how we created the balloon garland. The party was adorable and loved by all! My husband, Dan loves to grill, he is known for his amazing BBQ so it was a given that whatever theme Everleigh’s 1st birthday party was he’d be providing his culinary gems. I thought of several different themes, all of which were super girly and frilly which, I didn’t feel went well…

It’s No “Wonder” Why We #ChooseKind
We are so excited as a family to see “Wonder” coming to the big screen this November. My daughter read the book last year and fell in love with it and connected as well with it. She talked about “Wonder” from the time she started until she put it down – and it’s continued on. She even commented on several occasions that they should: “make it a movie”. And voila!
