Family :: Tis the Season for Some Downtime
It seems like every mom I run into these days has a look of “oh, boy, the holidays are almost here!” This time of year can be so hectic between shuffling the kids to hockey games, helping solve their quadratic equations and giving the little ones their baths, that you might skip doing the things that help keep you in a balanced and calm state. Why not take a walk with some friends? Or head out to your favorite breakfast sans kids and read a book while enjoying a hot cup of coffee. Or maybe catch up on some missed episodes – if not full seasons – of some your favorite shows. Did…

Bitdefender BOX for Your Home Security Protection
Consumer security is constantly changing. What does that mean for your devices and not just your PC or MAC. I’m talking about everything: phones, computers, iDevices, Android products, even your gaming system (think PlayStation or others that use wi-fi), even your household products or your digital streaming device (Roku for example). Home security should be something you are thinking about and wanting to make secure. A top priority. With your computer you most likely use software (antivirus/malware). Scary times. What’s for Dinner :: Italian Chopped Salad
With summer upon us it can be tough finding the time (or energy) to make dinner so I have been on the hunt for really simple yet healthy meals I can make in a moments time. Last week I picked up a premade Italian Chopped Salad at the grocery that included all the makings (Romaine Lettuce, Brocolli, Red Cabbage, Green Onions, and Parsley) for a yummy Italian salad. I wasn’t sure how much salami, etc., was included in the package so I went ahead and bought some nitrate-free salami (two types), mozzarella cheese, nitrate and MSG-free turkey and some grape tomatoes. I already had the dressing and Greek olives on…

Have Courage and Be Kind ~ Cinderella
Have courage and be kind. Such wise words from Cinderella’s mother! As moms we are constantly bombarded with a million and one things to do every day, week and year. It almost feels like we are on a long windy road sometimes and we don’t really see an end in sight. And many of the things we are doing every day are for our family. The kids need our attention 24/7 and if we want to keep our marriage healthy – our husbands need some of that attention! I’ve heard that marriages are work – and need to be given attention to. It is so important to spend time each day just talking…
