Tips for Spending Quality Time with the Family
We like to enjoy a family night-in about once a week. Usually it falls on a Friday or Saturday night and it’s a great time for us to spend time together, whether we are playing board games, cards (my daughter is extremely lucky… ) or watching a movie together, I do treasure these moments as I anticipate it might get harder to have my soon-to-be teenager to want to “hang with the parents.” I think though that teens, especially teens, still need this family time to reconnect and stay grounded during these rather whirlwind years. One of my favorite meals anytime of the year is soup! We wanted to try out a new slow-cooker recipe and found this one on Food Network courtesy of Ree Drummond. Love her and the recipes she creates!
