Interviews with the Cast and Filmmakers of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part out in theaters 2/8
A group of bloggers had a chance to meet the cast and filmmakers of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part starring Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller (Producers/ Screenwriters) Mike Mitchell and Trisha Gum (Directors) last week at the W Hotel in Beverly Hills. They were such a fun group of people and you could tell how much care went into making this movie – from the actors who love what they do, to the producers who are big kids themselves and super talented (they just finished Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), it was my pleasure to sit down with all of them…

SECOND ACT Movie Review and Interview with Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini
Last weekend I had a chance to see Second Act starring Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini. This romantic comedy is one you will want to go see with your best pals! It is funny, sweet, inspiring and the outfits worn by Jennifer’s character, are AMAZING! And the best part was the opportunity to interview both of these fantastic ladies and the Director Peter Segal last Monday. Both ladies are as gorgeous in person as they are on camera and both incredibly really down-to-earth. As Maya Vargas (JENNIFER LOPEZ) celebrates her 43rd birthday, she has one wish. A promotion. After 15 years at Value Shop, the past six as assistant…

DON’T MISS THE PREMIERE EVENTS OF THE RESIDENT & 9-1-1 SEPTEMBER 23RD & 24TH ON FOX This post is sponsored by FOX and SheKnows Media. Last week I had a chance to attend an event held by SheKnows Media and FOX showcasing the 2-Night Premiere of 9-1-1 on September 23rd and 24th at 9/8c and The Resident on September 24th at 8/7c only. The Mom to the Rescue event also included a 101 CPR refresher class and short clips from The Resident and 9-1-1. I have to say both shows look really good and if you like dramas with some romance thrown in you are probably going to like…

Enjoy an Easy Family Dinner with a Sandwich Bar
Today’s post is sponsored by Eckrich Deli Meat but all opinions are my own. Now that school is back in session (yay!) moms can heave a big sigh because we now have a little extra time for ourselves which is always a good thing. I am always looking for simple, yet healthy meal options that don’t take a ton of time to prepare. That is why sandwich night is always a big hit in our house. We like to put out some ham, Swiss and cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, roasted bell peppers, yummy olives and pickles, a variety of bread, and everyone can pick and choose which type of sandwich…

6 Ways We Can Empower Women and Girls Around the World
Written by Kaitlin Murray The cover image shows me teaching a class of girls at Project Soar Morocco about the Syrian refugee crisis. “We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back. We call upon our sisters around the world to be brave – to embrace the strength within themselves and realize their full potential.” – Malala Yousafzai In our world today, too many girls and women are not empowered to reach for their dreams and discover their full potential. All around the world, millions of girls and women are still at the margins of society and don’t have the chance to raise their voices. As empowered…

Dandelion Moms Project Kindness :: Helping an Autism Center
Dandelion Moms Project Kindness was created in order to support local, national and even worldwide organizations. A few years back our community sent a small town in the Dominican Republic over 250 books so they could open up a town library. Together, we helped raised over 300 Project Night Night tote bags that were given out to children in shelters across the country and supported the #LikeAGirl campaign that empowers young girls. These are just some of the organizations that that our community has helped and it is something that is dear to my heart. This month I was asked by a long-time dandelion mom if our community could help…
