My father-in-law told me about this remarkable young girl, Layla Karnes, who dreams of becoming a champion figure skater. He heard about Layla from his physician, Dr. William Karnes, who happens to be her number one fan (shared with mom) and dad. The Perfect Gift for Father’s Day!
Last week my daughter’s teacher gave this adorable succulent gift to the volunteer’s that helped out this year. She had all the children sign the glass vase with their names. I thought this would make the perfect Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Grandparent’s Day and yes, Teacher Appreciation Day gift! We are big fans of anything Disney! I just love how Walt Disney had a dream and vision and created one of the most amazing amusement parks and companies ever! At a conference in April I heard about the upcoming Walt Disney four-hour documentary that’s part of PBS’ American Experience series that will air September 14 and 15 and will talk about the man and his extraordinary vision.
