Introducing the new Sesame Street Character :: Mando!
©2013 Sesame Workshop. All rights reserved. Many of us grew up watching Grover, Cookie Monster and Big Bird and have fond memories of Sesame Street. I love that my daughter enjoys watching this quality and educational program and we can laugh together at Cookie Monster’s antics! Sesame Street was conceived in 1966, and was first aired on public broadcasting television stations November 10, 1969, and will celebrate it’s 44th season this coming September. The history of Sesame Street has reflected changing attitudes to developmental psychology, early childhood education and cultural diversity. Kids :: Enjoy Summer with the BabbaBox
Have you ever woken up on summer morning, and asked “What am I going to do with my kids today”? Summer break is an amazing time of exploration, growth and bonding for you and yours. But it can also be taxing (ok, even maddening) for parents as we are faced with keeping our kids occupied all day with fun, enriching activities and picking up where school left off. Send Something Unique for Mother’s Day!
Since becoming a mother over six years ago, I always look forward to getting the handmade artwork or crafts that my daughter makes for me for Mother’s Day! I think I am pretty easy to shop for (my husband might disagree) as I love flowers and treats on Mom’s Day but trying to figure out what to get my mom can cause me a bit of stress! Taster’s Box receive a monthly box of 5-8 snacks for $7/month (includes shipping). I know…

I know you are reading this poem listening for something, torn between bitterness and hope turning back once again to the task you cannot refuse. I know you are reading this poem because there is nothing else left to read there where you have landed,…

Entering the World of Mom Bloggers at the Mom 2.0 Summit
This past weekend I attended the Mom 2.0 Summit at The Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel where hundreds of women bloggers were looking to connect with other women as well as with the sponsors and partners of the event such as Honda, Whirlpool, and Dove. It was pretty amazing to be in a room full of women (and a handful of men) who were so interested to learn some tricks of the trade about how to turn their hobbies or businesses into a more successful one. This was my first Mom Blogger event and I really didn’t know what to expect. Wow – was I impressed! From the quality of key-note speakers to the caliber of women in the…
