Delicious Chicago-style Hot Dog Recipe
During my visit to Chicago this past May, I was determined to try out a couple restaurants famous for Chicago-style deep dish pizza and hot dogs. I had never had a traditional Chicago dog so I really didn’t have any expectations! I’ve always been a ketchup kind of girl so I was in for a nice treat. Let me say this is the only way to eat a hot dog now. We duplicated this delicious style hot dog at home and it was super easy. You can mix it up a bit. Like some people like to put lettuce or cucumber slices on the dog, but by no means…

Celebrate Bad Moms with some girlfriends – In Theaters July 29th
BAD MOMS – In Theaters July 29 In this new comedy from the grateful husbands and devoted fathers who wrote The Hangover, Amy has a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she’s over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence – putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn and her clique of devoted perfect moms. I had a chance to…

Comic Con 2016 delivers and then some!
This week I had a chance to sit down with the filmmakers, producer and stars of the upcoming Dream Works Animation movie Trolls Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick at Comic Con in San Diego. And when I say sit-down, I mean at a round-table setting within feet of the one and only JT! Yes, I was in heaven. Be sure to check out my post in the coming weeks about this interview and I’ll share some funny stories with you all like when Justin broke out singing Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” for us mom bloggers (we all about died). I can say he was super down-to-earth as was Anna and…

Don’t Miss Out: Halloween at Disneyland If you haven’t heard, Disneyland announced their official Halloween Time and Mickey’s Halloween Party dates for this year! This is one of the most popular times of the year to take the family out to Disneyland for a visit. The entire park is decorated in Halloween decor and you will find a ton of characters throughout the park (including the other visitors!). Mickey’s Halloween Party Halloween Time will be taking place from September 9 – October 31. Mickey’s Halloween Party will…

Start Walking and Reclaim Your Mind and Body
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” ~ Albert Einstein A few months ago I decided to take time out for myself and get back in shape. I was SO over carrying this extra weight I gained from my neck injury and taking steroids (it is a real thing people) and I wanted to find a form of exercise that would fit into my busy lifestyle. Heck, we are all too busy these days, but finding time to take care of our body is so very important. I think many times…

History of Ice Cream
Growing up our family would head to our local ice cream shop, Baskin-Robbins 31 Flavors, a couple times a month! I would switch it up between a banana split or a scoop (or two) of vanilla ice cream on a cone. For most people, ice cream brings back happy childhood memories! Today, July 17th, is National Ice Cream Day and I wanted to find out more about this delicious treat that so many of us enjoy! Food historians tell us the history of ice cream begins with ancient flavored ices. The Chinese are generally credited for creating the first ice creams, possibly as early as 3000 BC. Marco Polo…
