Inspirational Mom :: Jackie Shapiro of French Bull
Back in the early 2000’s, my very stylish girlfriend introduced me to the French Bull line. I fell in love with her polka dot round platter she was using at a dinner party. I was sold right then and there! I was fortunate to find the same multidot platter at a cute little boutique in Laguna Beach and she gave me this one for a Christmas present. Day 12 :: Get Your Home Decluttered in 28 Days: The Backyard
We are on Day 12 of our Home Decluttering Project. Granted, it has taken me more than 28 days to tackle each room in the house, but that is okay! So join in where you can if you think your home could use some attention! Since I look out into our garden everyday from…

I want my children to have those same memories, and the feelings of joy and excitement this season brings. However, fall is a hard thing to come by in Southern California. With the temperatures still well in the 80’s, and the only color leaves we see are green or brown, we have to head…

CURIOUS GEORGE: A Hallowen Boo Fest Premieres October 27th
You’re invited to the spooky return of CURIOUS GEORGE: A Halloween Boo Fest on PBS KIDS! On Monday, October 27, everyone’s favorite monkey returns in his Halloween special, kicking off season 9 with a week of new episodes from the popular series! Last year I had the pleasure of speaking with the Executive Producer of Curious George, Dorothea Gillim who also created Word Girl! She spoke about how difficult it can be to produce a show where the main character doesn’t speak. When she said this to me during our talk, I realized what an amazing job they were doing – the main character doesn’t talk… yet we all love Curious…
