Taste of Nature Bars are a Healthy Snack for Kids and Moms
According to a recent national survey conducted by Kelton and sponsored by Taste of Nature, nearly all (98%) Americans snack, but nine in ten (85%) admit they find healthy snacking to be difficult. Americans struggle to find a balance between what tastes good and what’s good for them. Taste is the top consideration when making a snack choice (73%), which is more important than convenience (54%) or accessibility (35%). What’s more, half (50%) say that healthy snacking is so difficult because it is hard to find a healthy snack that tastes good. (Source: PR January 2014). Must-Have: Younique … Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes
For about a year now, I’ve seen friends or friends of friends posting on social media regarding “Younique” makeup. Mainly, their “Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes” mascara. I’ve been curious and clicked on the links and read from reviews to testimonials. So when I had a chance recently to try it out – okay, I begged *lol* I was skipping around the house anxiously awaiting the arrival. Let me explain why: A couple years ago I noticed if I didn’t wear mascara that my long, thick beautifumous lashes were no more (hangs head in shame). Netflix Titles, Crafts and Recipes to Promote Kindness and Acceptance
A Little Kindness Never Gets Old. That is the catch-phrase of the Netflix original series, Derek, staring Ricky Gervais, an English nursing home caretaker who only sees the good in people. Wouldn’t life be easier if we all had this sunny disposition and saw only the good?! This month as we are preparing our children for returning to school, Netflix took a cue from Derek and compiled a list of titles that help teach our kids about kindness and acceptance. Derek’s mantra of acceptance, no matter age or ability inspired their list of titles that provide a great resource for parents to remind their kids about seeing the good in others. …

Day Seven :: Get Your Home Decluttered in 28 Days
(Photo: Yasuyoshi Chiba/Getty Images) Today let’s work on our fridges! Yay! No? I get it but you will be sighing a big Ahhh after you finish clearing it out. I don’t know if you can hear my sigh of relief but I have been saying it all morning – and even inspected my “new” and clean fridge a couple times! One of things the declutter experts say is don’t go out and buy containers, organizers, etc., until you have cleared away most of the clutter. That way, once things have been cleared out, donated, given away, or sold, you will know what you really need and don’t have…

Day Six :: Get Your Home Decluttered in 28 Days
Image courtesy of Pinterest. DAY SIX :: Gathering Items We Will Need to Start De-cluttering! Today let’s gather some things we will need so we can start on decluttering toys, books, unfinished projects, etc., that are probably providing some stress in your life – and who needs that?! I realized that I had done this already in my living room and probably had brought over 10 bags to our local Salvation Army. Many of you are at the beginning stages so let’s step back a bit and I’ll share what we did in the rooms we cleared out. We still have three main rooms to tackle so I feel your…
