Inspirational Mom: Natalia Ortiz Huggies Mom provides grants to deserving moms each year in their Huggies Mom Inspired Grant Program they conduct once a year. I heard about Natalia Ortiz as she was one of the winners last year for the grant for her Two Hippo’s company. She created the Wall Bumpi after having problems with her young daughter hitting her head on the wall while sleeping in her big girl bed! I love when our children provide inspiration for creating! Therefor, in the interest of context, let me just say that I use that word to equate my personal period of quiet and introspection in the morning. Photographer Becky Lew
Photography has always inspired me and I hope to someday make the time to learn the ins and outs of taking a good picture. At this point I just take a bunch of pictures hoping I will have a couple good ones! I came across Becky Lew’s work from a friend’s holiday card she sent out this past Christmas. I loved how her family looked so natural and the lighting was amazing. We are always hearing about the importance of lighting when taking a good photograph. Becky Lew really takes it to the next level and one of the things that stands out to me about her work is…

Hawthorne is well known as a heart herb for anyone needing to increase circulation, bring on more joy and love into their lives. Hawthorne tinctures, teas or syrups are also used to lift spirits and relieve sadness. In Greece, wedding guests would bring sprigs of Hawthorne to gesture happiness, prosperity (and fertility) to the…
